David Moore is the founder and CEO of Bala Ingredients, an early-stage biotechnology company developing neuromodulatory compounds for use in beverage formulations.

His work spans product development, formulation, and early commercialization within complex and regulated environments. Across prior ventures, he has led projects from concept through execution, navigating technical uncertainty, operational constraints, and capital efficiency.

At Bala, his current focus is on research and development, validation, and the evaluation of appropriate regulatory pathways, while engaging selectively with scientific collaborators and potential strategic partners.

Bala Ingredients is currently in pre-commercial development.
